Alice in Wonderland is one of the most beloved and well-known stories around the world. It inspired countless movies, parodies and other adaptions. This is especially the case because of a variety of Alice in Wonderland quotes.
It tells the story of a young girl named Alice who falls through a rabbit hole and enters a fantasy world populated by anthropomorphic creatures.
Many of these characters, like the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, or the King of Hearts, have become as memorable and recognizable as the book itself. They are strange, wacky, or downright mad.
While it’s often described as children’s book, it’s also a prime example of the literary nonsense category.
The world it presents to us is weird and bizarre, one full of madness and idiosyncrasy.
Yet, behind all this madness, the book contains quite a few deeper themes and ideas.
Alice in Wonderland is essentially a story full of life lessons for both children and adults. Alice herself is a prime example since she doesn’t let anyone define what’s possible and impossible for her.
It’s about the importance of imagination, understanding who you are and how these things can change your overall perspective.
While it’s a short book, it’s still full of memorable quotes of which I want to present to you my favorites. If you’re looking for more inspiring quotes, check out my list of deep Twitter quotes.
